Players take turns placing or moving pieces on an unbounded board with the goal of connecting five or more pieces in a row.
Each player begins with 15 pieces of their selected color. On their turn, players must place a piece directly adjacent to an existing piece. After a player has placed all of their pieces, they will have to move one of their existing pieces on their turn.
Five gameplay. The red player can win on their turn.
There is one extra rule in this movement phase: when moving a piece, the removal of that piece must not create any "islands" of pieces, even if only temporary. (An "island" is any group of pieces that becomes disconnected from the rest of the pieces on the board.)
Five gameplay. Play has progressed to the point that both players have placed all of their pieces. This screenshot shows that the black player has selected a piece to move.
A winner is declared when a player completes an unbroken line of five or more pieces of their color horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
